Review:
Originally designed to host the Australian 24 Hour MTB Championships, Kowen quickly developed a strong network of trails that far outgrew the original 20 kilometre 24hr lap. Following its initial design as a trail catering to beginners, the later expansion of trails has been developed with the same friendliness in mind.

While there is the ability to reach reasonable altitudes, the trails tend to traverse the landscape to allow riders a milder journey to the peaks. This is not to say that more experienced riders will find these trails easy. With the gentle nature of the gradients it becomes easier to maintain speeds that will provide a constant challenge to satisfy even the best riders.
