Review:
Lysterfield Park hosted the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games cross country race; it has been the staple ride and race location for south-eastern Melbourne for many years. With trails ranging from family-friendly fire trails to introductory, intermediate and advanced singletracks, Lysterfield has something for trail riders of all levels.

A loop of the park on singletracks can range between 10km up to 25km if you chose to take in the more demanding Commonwealth Games course. Lysterfield will not set your altimeter a blaze with massive climbs or descents, but the creative flowing trails are rare in that they make the climbs seem short and make the flowing carving undulating downhill sections seem to last longer than the climbs.

It has more awesome corners per square inch than almost any place on the planet, especially on the upper and lower 'Blair Witch' trails. Couple this with an abundance of fallen tree rollovers, drop offs and jumps, Lysterfield is great for riders of any fitness and ability.
